GENERAL INFORMATION

CANCELLATIONS: Cancellations must be approved by Express Line, and must be confirmed in writing. All costs incurred prior to the time of cancellation will be charged, including a 20% restocking charge.

CAP COLORS: For all two-tone caps, the crown color is listed first, followed by the color of the bill. Die lots may differ slightly from order to order.

CHANGE OF IMPRINT COLOR: $18.75(g) per color per location.

COMBINED PRODUCT FOR QUANTITY PRICING: All caps may be combined for quantity pricing if the exact size of imprint, design, and type of imprinting is used. Similarly, all shirts may be combined under the same conditions. However, different types of items may not be combined.

COPYRIGHTS & TRADEMARKS: Submission of an order to Express Line conveys that all necessary copyright & trademark laws have been satisfied and that Express Line will not be held responsible in any way for possible violations.

CUSTOMER’S OWN GOODS: Silkscreening, Suede Puff® and embroidery are available on customer’s supplied garments. Custom or special items to be printed must be approved prior to submitting an order, and will receive a special price quote. No COD shipments will be accepted. All incoming goods must specify your company name & PO# on the box. Express Line maintains quality standards, however, we do not assume responsibility for occasional misprints within industry allowances and are not responsible for customer’s goods. Call for contract price list.

DROP SHIPMENTS: No add’l chg for first location, $5(z) ea add’l location.

EMBROIDERY: To quote the stitch count, send your art, specifying the exact size. Minimum height of lettering is 3/16”. Imprint on caps is centered based on the position of the cap bill. Express Line will provide a copy of embroidery tape for $25(z) each upon request. Tape Charge for new orders: $75(g) for designs up to 5,000 stitches plus $15(g) ea add’l 1,000 stitches. Straight line stock lettering/minor edit tape charge: $30(z).

EMBROIDERED PERSONALIZATION: $5.00(g) per word.

LARGE QUANTITY PRICING: Call factory for special quote.

LESS THAN MINIMUM CHARGES: 1/2 or more of min. quantity break: $15(z). 1/4 to < 1/2 of min. quantity: $30(z). Less than this will be charged as proofs.
For Creative Combos less than 96, add $1.25g each, with 48 pc absolute minimum.

OVERRUNS AND UNDERRUNS: The factory reserves the right to over or under ship by 5%. Exact quantities are normally shipped.

PAPER PROOFS OR E-PROOFS: Provided on your request at no add’l charge.Upon proof approval, distributor assumes sole responsibility regarding contents.

PREPRODUCTION PROOFS: Embroidered Sewouts: $10.00(z). Embroidered Emblems: $75(z) (E-proof @ n/c).
Shirts, Coolers, Backpacks, Portfolios & Totes: Cost of the item PLUS: $15(z) per screen for silkscreened, $10(z) for embroidered, $15(z) for Hi-Tek or Digital Emblem.
All other items: Cost of item PLUS $10(z)
Freight for proofs is $5 minimum, or actual freight incurred.

PRODUCTION TIME: Normal time is 10 working days from receipt of order at the factory. For embroidered emblems, add 2 weeks more. For orders requiring proof approval, artwork, or customized items, add 5 working days. See "RUSH ORDERS" for more info.

RANDOM & BLANK SAMPLES: Will be charged at end column pricing. Samples are not returnable. Freight is $5 minimum, or actual freight incurred.

RETURNS: No returns will be accepted without prior authorization from Express Line. Returns must be requested within 10 days of receipt of the order. Blank goods, shirts, or special ordered goods cancelled before production will be subject to a 20% restocking charge.

RUSH ORDERS: Receipt of an order less than 5 working days prior to shipping will be considered a rush order. Call to secure a ship date and add'l charges.

SECOND SIDE IMPRINT ON CAPS AND TOTES: Suede Puff® or silkscreened: 48-95 $1.17(c), 96&up $.75(c) for one color, $.37(g) ea add’l color plus setup chgs. Embroidered 5,000 stitches or less: 48-95 $3.17(c), 96&up $2.58(c) plus $.25(g) ea add’l 1,000 st. plus tape charge.

SET-UP CHARGES FOR SILKSCREENING & SUEDE PUFF: $37.50(g) per color. Screen set-ups, art, & previous order details will be held for 2 years and then destroyed. Finely detailed art may not be suitable for one color Suede Puff® and may require a second fill color plus an addl screen charge.

SET-UP CHARGES FOR HI-TEK COLOR, HI-DEF & PROMOTEK FULL COLOR: $75.00(g)
Change of straight-line copy/minor edits: $37.50(g)

SHIPPING & PACKAGING: All shipments are F.O.B. factory. Express Line is not responsible for carrier delays. Caps are boxed 24 or 25 per inner box, 144 or 150 per outer box with an approx weight of 35 lbs per gross. Shirts are flat folded by dozens. Freight for oversized cartons is billed by carton size (dimensional weight), not by actual weight of the packed carton. Most normal shipments are UPS ground. Frt for proofs, samples, and overruns is $5 minimum, or actual freight incurred. $15 add'l fee for postal shipments.

STANDARD IMPRINT COLORS: Due to the characteristics of the different printing processes, all PMS numbers are approximate. Shades may vary on various substrates, and from proof-to-run and job-to-job. All custom colors other than the standard colors below will incur a $25.00(g) charge on the first order.

ARTWORK: There is no add'l art charge if clean, clear or camera ready art is provided. Vector art is preferred. Straight line copy is available in standard typestyles at no charge. If curved arc or standard border is desired, add $7.50(z). No add'l art will be charged for up to 150% enlargement or 50% reduction of copy size. For dot patterns (half-tones), provide 45 line dots for hats, and 55 line dots for shirts. (Hats will require 1 add’l imprint color for trapping dot pattern). For four color process on tees and totes, all art modifications and separations are done in-house to maintain control over film imaging and eliminate third party inconsistencies. If not specified on order to use exact size supplied, Express Line will modify size to best suit imprint area. Art charges over $40.00(z) will be quoted before production. Art charges under $40.00 will be invoiced if necessary w/out prior approval or delay in production.

ART REQUIREMENTS: Acceptable Macintosh programs include Illustrator CS2, Photoshop CS2, Adobe Acrobat, & Corel Draw. Save file in native, editable format(EPS, AI, PDF). Image files can be supplied as a PSD, JPEG, EPS, or TIFF (layered files are required due to any alterations for print). All fonts need to be send with the original file or converted to outlines. Image files are required to be at 100% size, resolution should be at minimum size of 300 dpi for optimum quality print. Unacceptable formats include: Powerpoint,Word, Excel, Publisher, Quark, Pagemaker & Indesign.

HOW TO SEND ART : Computer files can be provided on a disk, or can be e-mailed to art@ge411.com. Include PO# and company name on subject line. A fax or emailed JPEG of artwork is mandatory with your order . If fax/JPEG visual verification is not sent, we will not be responsible if uploaded art is not received correctly. No credit will be issued for any art errors.
